NYS CHILD CARE REGULATIONS
Regulations are established, maintained, and physically observed by the New York State Department of Children and Family Services (NYS OCFS). All registered licensed daycares, big and small, are required to uphold these regulations in order to maintain their status as licensed and operable.
These regulations are in place so every child placed in public care is in an environment that meets the minimum health & safety requirements. Regulations are public information and are posted on the NYS OCFS website and linked on this page as well.
Little Learners is a licensed and registered "Family Daycare" and adheres to section 417 of the NYS regulations.
*Disclaimer: Every day care set up is unique to that provider, their home, and the needs of parents and children in their care. There are regulations that are not applicable to Little Learners, and there are some regulations that are being followed by may not be immediately visible.
Please contact Renee Barone with any questions or concerns regarding the regulations.
